In both digital and traditional illustration I provide accurate and succinct depictions of medical and scientific information.
PLAVIX
This project was an intro into working with clients. Our client, Cynthia Turner, asked us to produce two highly rendered illustrations for a poster about PLAVIX. One was a cross seciton showing the development of an embolism while the other was to be a full figure with insets of the brain, heart and the veins of the leg. Through the design process, the audience and the company that we were designing for, Brystol-Myers Squibb were to be scrutinized. To create a highly accurate representation I elected to start my illustration from modeled base forms. These forms would allow for a fast and more sound arrangement of forms so that I would be able to focus more of my attentions on the delivery of the message of strength and trust through color palate and arrangement of forms. A poster containing both illustrations was produced after the project was completed.
